Want your TikTok profile to lead to a project, a newsletter and GitHub? First check whether you can add a website link. A page containing several destinations does not bypass TikTok’s eligibility rules.
Once eligible, you can use a link page as your website destination. That page holds the choices; TikTok does not become a native multi-link menu. Here is the setup, plus the cases where a direct website link works better.
Check eligibility before building anything
TikTok’s official profile-link instructions say website links require at least 1,000 followers or a Verified Business Account. We checked this source on 26 Oct 2026.
The word Verified matters. Simply switching to a Business Account is not the requirement stated on this help page. Business verification is also different from a blue verified badge.
The official instructions describe adding a website link. They do not document multiple native website-link slots or explicitly state a numerical maximum. This guide does not assume that every account has identical features.
Create one page with your destinations
Open Pagr’s free page form and choose a handle and display name. Add a short bio and the links you want visitors to find.
Use labels that explain the destination: Try the demo, Read the newsletter, View the GitHub repo. Put the destination mentioned in your current videos first. A short, relevant list is easier to choose from than an archive of everything you have shipped.
Email is optional. Leave one to receive a private edit link, then update your destinations without changing the website address in TikTok. Creating a free page requires no account or card. Free pages carry a Made with Pagr badge.
Copy your public page address after creating it. Never paste the private edit link into a public profile. That link grants editing access, not just a view of your page.
Add the public address to TikTok
TikTok’s current help page gives these steps. Follow the prompts you see rather than relying on older screenshots:
- In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Next to Links, tap Add.
- Follow the steps to link your website, using your public page address.
- Open your profile as a visitor and check the website link, then each destination on your page.
If the website option is missing
Check your follower count and verification status first. A link-page provider cannot enable a TikTok field that your account does not have.
TikTok’s business-verification documentation says some features depend on your market or other account factors. Verification requirements vary by location; it is not a universal shortcut.
If eligible but still missing the option, use TikTok’s own in-app help. Do not pay a provider promising to unlock the field. Buying a bio page changes its destination, not your TikTok permissions.
Understand the extra tap and browser limits
A link page adds a choice between the profile and the final destination. It also adds a dependency: your visitors need that page to remain available.
TikTok says its in-app browser limits browsing through external link chains across all accounts. Visitors may be prompted to open a page in their device browser. TikTok recommends direct links so people can reach the intended site in a few steps.
Avoid URL shorteners and unnecessary redirects between TikTok, your page and the destination. These official instructions do not guarantee acceptance of every provider’s address. Test the route yourself, including the final destination, before pointing viewers at it.
When a direct link wins
If every video points to the same demo, use that demo’s direct address. You remove a page load and a decision. A personal website already listing your projects can do the same job without another service.
A link page earns its place when viewers need genuinely different destinations or your current project changes frequently. Pagr keeps those destinations behind one public address. It does not add TikTok follower eligibility or promise more clicks.
Using both platforms? Our Instagram bio-link guide covers its different native-link setup. Do not carry TikTok’s eligibility rule over to Instagram.
